Work Worn Hands

The back of a photograph is often a place to find
interesting information about the image.

Dorothea Lange has been quoted as saying that 'a camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera'...

The writer of the note on the back identifies herself? Her well worn hands are only obvious to her. I look for what she sees but only notice the absence of other hands visible.

I noticed the hands, I noticed the clasp on the coat that mirrors the hands and then I became aware of the man standing behind them.
